Erin Hinz is a painter based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds an MFA in painting with a minor in gender studies from the University of Notre Dame and a BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. She has exhibited widely including Momenta Art (Brooklyn, NY), the Knockdown Center (Queens, NY), the Laundromat Art Space (Miami, FL), the Omaha Creative Institute (Omaha, NE) and Craighead Green (Dallas,TX). She has attended several residencies including Chautauqua School of Art Summer Residency, the Florence Academy of Art and Urban Culture Project in Kansas City. Additionally, She has been featured in magazines and online art spaces including Slayer Gallery, Fresh Paint Magazine and the Women's Caucus for Art and has been published in Artcritical and the Brooklyn Rail.
