He also holds 7 Emmys for producing and directing the long-running CBS series “The Body Human”. During his early career, he was nominated for an Oscar for Eugene O’Neil documentary film “The Face of Genius”. Years later Mr. Kelman produced the George C. Scott classic “Christmas Carol”. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Kelman has produced or directed over 100 films and documentaries.

His fondest memory as he remembers is when he was granted an exclusive interview with the Reverend Martin Luther King following the Selma Alabama March in a special documentary “Martin Luther King in Boston”.  Later in his career, he enrolled at the Art Student League for the study of figure drawing. Kelman says that the year spent there gave him as much pleasure as his long star-studded career.
